Saugerties’ public access cable channel (Lighthouse TV23) is a vehicle for community communication, education, artistic expression and other noncommercial uses of video on an open, uncensored and equitable basis. 

If you are in the Saugerties  SPECTRUM viewing area, and you have an event you would like to publicize, simply send an email with the information you want displayed (30 words or less, so that the screen is not too crowded) to: lighthousetv@saugerties.ny.us. The only guideline is that the event is for a NON-Profit causes or organizations (.ORG, 501C). Any town or village registered organization is eligible to submit announcements or events.

If you have a video of general interest to Saugerties cable subscribers, you can submit it by downloading a Channel Time Request Form at the bottom of this section or download it from the Town of Saugerties Official website: Click on TV23 and look for the listing. Complete the form and bring  the form and media on DVD or on a Thumb Drive.  Photo media is accepted as a JPEG file and video is accepted as a MP4 file. Our hours are from 8am to 11am Monday-Friday. We suggest that you call in advance to make certain that someone is there to receive your media. You can also  leave it with the front desk of the town hall at 4 High Street. Please make certain that it is properly enclosed and sealed with your filled out request form.

Lighthouse TV23 is a joint Town and Village of Saugerties undertaking.  It is funded by both the Town and Village boards. It is managed by a Program Coordinator and advised by an all volunteer committee made up of village and town residents. The committiee is  made up of  Town & Village residents: Paul VanSchaack, Matt Phillips, Paul O'Malley, Gus Pedersen, Nina Schmidbaur, and Christine Dinsmore.

Leeanne Thornton is the Town board liaison and Jeannine Mayer is the Village board liaison.

We have installed systems that make it easy for you to access the streaming and Video on Demand content.
